Booking and payment terms
These terms describe the intended booking flow and the owner decisions made to date. Professional legal and tax review remain before customers can be charged.
Booking and confirmation
Online booking is available for eligible rentals beginning at least 14 days before arrival. After the customer chooses available dates, verifies the delivery address, and accepts the agreements, Stripe securely collects a $100 deposit. The booking is confirmed after Stripe reports successful payment, and one of Peak Heat's two saunas is reserved for the rental dates.
Refund if Peak Heat cannot serve the rental
Peak Heat will refund the $100 deposit in full to the original payment method if it cannot confirm or deliver the rental because of availability, a double booking, weather, an inaccessible delivery site, or another unforeseen operational issue.
Customer cancellation
The $100 deposit is fully refundable to the original payment method when the customer cancels at least 14 days before the scheduled delivery date. Customer cancellations inside 14 days are generally nonrefundable. Peak Heat may make an exception for extraordinary circumstances at its discretion.
Balance timing
Two weeks before the rental, Peak Heat emails a secure Stripe link for the remaining balance and asks the customer to coordinate drop-off and pickup timing. The balance is due within 72 hours of that email. If it remains unpaid, Peak Heat sends a reminder 24 hours before the deadline. After the deadline, Peak Heat reviews the booking and may cancel the rental and release the dates after checking payment arrangements. The deposit remains subject to the cancellation policy.
Package rules
Weekend Escape runs from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. Midweek Reset runs from Monday morning to Friday midday. The 24-Hour Rental runs for one 24-hour window. Custom and long-term rentals require a written quote.
Delivery area
Standard online booking is limited to delivery addresses within 15 miles of Ellicottville, NY. The address must be safely accessible and have enough level space for delivery, setup, use, and pickup.
Included items
The quoted package includes the mobile wood-fired sauna, cold plunge, standard-zone delivery and setup, all sauna materials supplied, operating guidance, support, and pickup, unless the written quote states otherwise.
Customer responsibilities
The renter must provide accurate contact and site information, obtain permission from the property owner when needed, maintain safe access, follow the user manual and waiver, supervise the group, prevent unauthorized movement or tampering, and return included equipment in the agreed condition.
Safety and site conditions
Peak Heat may refuse delivery, delay setup, stop use, or arrange early pickup when the site, weather, access, customer conduct, or equipment condition presents a reasonable safety risk. Peak Heat asks the customer to confirm driveway, access, and setup-space details before delivery. If Peak Heat cancels before delivery because weather, an inaccessible delivery site, or another unforeseen operational issue prevents safe delivery, the $100 deposit is refunded in full.
Sales tax
Advertised package prices include applicable New York sales tax. Customer receipts will show the taxable amount and sales tax separately for recordkeeping.
